Answers from the actual Tally data, worked out as the rest of the app, method shown
What you can ask
Plain questions, in any wording. Names and numbers are matched loosely, so a typo or lower case is fine.
- Rankings: top customers, products or brands, by value or units, “top 5”
- A customer: “How much did Alouette(2) buy?”
- A product or brand: “What prices did we get for Maahir Honor?”
- Any document number: “What happened to order SOOFF-2026-3042?”
- Orders: waiting for delivery, the largest, how many
- Money: collections, post-dated cheques, settlements, payments, VAT
- Exceptions: duplicates, deliveries without invoices, goods without a value
- Branches, countries and days: “branch 1 sales”, “sales to Iraq”, “2 Oct”
Not in the export yet: open balances and overdue debt, stock on hand, profit, bank balances, reservations and trends. Asking about them says what data would answer.
